
COMMITTEE MEMBERS
Our committee is made up of a group of enthusiastic, passionate volunteers who meet regularly to ensure the smooth operation of the day to day running of our club. Our committee is elected each year at our Annual General Meeting.
Natasha Brown
President
The President is the club leader and public face of the club, overseeing administration and governance, chairing committee meetings, fostering relationships with external bodies, and ensuring the club's strategic goals are met in collaboration with the committee and members.

Vice President
The Vice President supports the club president in providing leadership to the club overall including organising the committee and over-seeing the performance of the club.

Sarah Perry
Secretary
The Secretary is the chief administration officer of the club. This person provides the coordination link between members, the club executive committee and outside agencies, eg, another local club.

Michael Howard
Treasurer
The role of Treasurer is to oversee the financial affairs of the club. The treasurer is responsible for preparation of the budget, planning for the club’s financial future, and assisting other committee areas relating to finance.

Registrar
The Registrar is responsible for the registration of all club members and for maintaining an up to date register of club member information.

Uniform Officer
Our uniform officer manages the full spectrum of our uniform including design, stock management, ordering and fulfilment.

Race Secretary
The Race Secretary is responsible for the planning, running and administration that goes into the club’s swimming competitions. This can include creating meet programs, advertising meets, accepting entries and entry fees, running your club competitions, and posting results after meets are conducted.

Friday Night Convenor
The role of Friday Night Convenor is to assist the Race Secretary in the running of our Club races on Friday nights. I support activities such as setting up the club night, reminders for registration, posting results and basically anything that is related to our Friday Night races.

Nicole Cherry
MPIO
A Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) is a person appointed by Swimming Australia, Swimming NSW, Areas or Clubs as a contact point in relation to giving advice on how to best use the National Integrity Framework. All Swimming NSW Clubs and Areas are obligated to have a nominated MPIO.
MPIOs provide impartial information about SSF policies, processes and procedures to:

any person with a concern arising from an alleged breach or
-
any person against whom there is an allegation of a breach.
MPIOs have no jurisdiction to determine the method of addressing a complaint, make a decision about, or impose any disciplinary measure.
MPIOs will make contact with the appropriate person/organisation designated to resolve the complaint and pass on pertinent information they have collected.

The role of Fundraising Officer is to seek opportunities to fundraise for the club including seeking sponsorship opportunities and community grants. Fundraising plays a crucial role is ensuring our club is best placed to grow and provide the best resources for our swimmers.
