WHERE IS NORWEST SWIMMING CLUB LOCATED?
Norwest Swimming Club is located at Oakhill College, training from Oakhill swimming pool. Our address is 423/513 Old Northern Road, Castle Hill 2154.

DO I NEED TO TRAIN WITH WESTERN SYDNEY AQUATICS IN ORDER TO JOIN NORWEST SWIMMING CLUB?
Yes. We ask that all of our club members are trained by the team at Western Sydney Aquatics, which is a specialist stroke development and squad training company catering to all abilities.
HOW DO I JOIN NORWEST SWIMMING CLUB?
If you are ready to join now, please go to www.swimcentral.swimming.org.au and complete your registration. Please note that in addition to registering your child, you will need to register one parent/guardian as a 'dry supporter' via Swim Central. The 'dry supporter' should be the parent/guardian who will be managing race bookings for their child.
DO YOU NEED TO BE A GOOD SWIMMER TO JOIN NORWEST SWIMMING CLUB?
No. Our club caters to swimmers at all levels from beginner to advanced. For our beginner swimmers, we offer a 25m race option across all strokes.
DO YOU OFFER A TRIAL?
Yes. If you would like to trail racing before committing to a membership, please contact regnwsc@gmail.com to arrange a trial at one of our Friday Night race nights. We offer 1 free trial per swimmer.
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN FRIDAY NIGHT RACE NIGHTS ARE ON?
We communicate all of our Friday Night race announcements via Team App. Please download the App and request permission to join Norwest Swimming Club. Once your access is approved, you will automatically receive notifications advising you when race events are scheduled. We also share a variety of other important club communications via this app.
HOW DO I ENTER INTO A FRIDAY NIGHT RACE NIGHT?
Entries are submitted via Swim Central. Progression standards must have been met in order to book into all events (excluding 25m events). There is a fee applicable to each race entered.
ONCE I JOIN NORWEST SWIMMING CLUB, WILL I BE ABLE TO ATTEND EXTERNAL MEETS IN ADDITION TO FRIDAY NIGHT RACING?
Yes. The club attends a number of meets throughout the course of the year and we encourage all of our club members to work with their coaches to agree on what events/meets to enter. Event details will be shared with all club members via email and/or Team App to ensure visibility of the event calendar.
IS IT MANDATORY TO PURCHASE THE CLUB UNIFORM?
Yes. This creates a sense of team belonging and uniformity and ensures we are identifiable amongst the many clubs competing at swim meets. Mandatory items include; cap, t-shirt, shorts or pants and hoodie. Our swimmers all love our uniform and wear it with pride.
